The AW'18 TOP NIGHT

What is a Top Night? It is clothing party held at NPB HQ in Herne Hill twice a year.
They are always relaxed yet buzzy, social evenings where you can browse the latest pieces, have a glass of wine, try on garments, receive discounts, choose from fabric swatches, place an order and maybe pick up a gift!

Why is it called Top Night?  The first clothing event I threw in 2014 was when I started out with a range of tops, since then I’ve added to the collection but the name has stuck, (plus it's always a TOP night!)

When is the next Top Night: The date for your diary is: Thursday 15th November from 8pm. Please contact me if you’d like to go on the guest list and I will send full details.

ONE SKIRT / four seasons

Transeasonal has become a bit of a buzz word - perhaps because we are now more aware of the consequences of throwaway fashion.  Many of us prefer to invest in special pieces that we will continue to love through the seasons and year after year, finding different ways to style them as we go.

The Skirt is a perfect example - wear with a t-shirt and denim jacket in spring, with sandals and a sleeveless top in summer, add a jumper and brogues in autumn and a polo neck and boots in winter.  It can take you on holiday, to the office and to a party - you can't get much more versatile than that!

In the words of Vivienne Westwood: "Buy less. Choose well. Make it last. Quality, not quantity"

London Design Festival

NPB had a great time at the South East Makers Club Market this weekend! It was fab to work alongside such talented makers and to meet so many lovely people, thank you if you stopped by and had a chat.  A surprise for me was how many men were interested in the garments, the subject of what makes something unisex (or not) was a hot topic!

Goodbye Bad Hair Days

The NPB Headscarf is made with elastic at the back and an adjustable tie so you can get the fit just right.  Also now available in a reversible design so you can get two looks in one.  Choose from any of the fabrics on the website or Instagram feed or contact Naomi if you are looking for something specific. Lots of vintage fabrics available from florals to geometric prints.  Can also be worn around the neck as shown.

The NPB Holiday Edit

For those of you lucky enough to be heading off on holiday, NPB has your travelling wardrobe covered! From headscarves to keep your beach hair in check to a kaftan for the ultimate poolside coverup, there'll be no-one else around wearing the same.....

The clutch bags can hold your travel essentials and then be used on a night out.  The Summer Tops, Frocks, Kimonos and Kaftans are all easy to dress up for evenings so are excellent, versatile pieces to pack. If you can brave a print clash then double up your NPB and wear The Kimono over The Frock!

Pop Up + Pimms!

It's been exactly 4 years since I started making tops for White Feather Boutique in Herne Hill and I'm thrilled that I'm still making, selling and growing my little brand. I would love you to join me for a celebratory Pimms at the lovely new Copper Beech Cafe (right outside Jags Sports Centre) on Friday 30th June from 7-9pm. 

It would be amazing to see you in your NPB garments (if you have them) but be prepared to have your photo taken!

Another TOP Top Night
