The COLLAGE blouse
“I love love love my collage top - it’s a complete work of art!”
Sewing ‘carbage’ was the name given to the bits of fabric left over from cutting out garments
It dates from at least the 17th century when tailors were sometimes charged (or even hanged)for stealing these valuable offcuts
I always save my offcuts and love devising ways to use them - The Collage Collection is my favourite so far
Each piece is made to order and totally unique to you - your own wearable work of art!
You can choose from the current or past fabric collections or choose a colour scheme. Designs can also be applied to dresses and jackets
The fabric remnants are carefully selected and arranged before being appliquéd onto the garment
